In one of the most eagerly awaited games anywhere in world football, AC Milan take on Inter Milan tonight in what could prove to be the most important Derby della Madoninna in years.

Back in October after the first encounter between the two sides which Milan won, it looked as if the Serie A title race was all but over. However, under the guidance of former Milan player and manager Leonardo, Inter have managed to gradually claw their way back into the race for the Scudetto and now the Nerazzurri sit just 2 points behind Milan going into tonight's derby.

Pato has just put Milan 1-0 up after a minute.

What a start to this match.

I didn't even know this was on, i'll find a stream asap.

Inter demolished AC last season

It amazes me the amount of people on 606 who have said Sneijder would have no trouble adapting to our system.

His defensive work is basically non-existent, he just doesn't want to track back. How people can say he would be able to play in a 4-4-2 I just don't know.

Robinho booked for diving.
Van Bommel hits the bar with a deflected shot.
Brilliant save by Abbiati. Inter might have a case for the ball being over the line.
Eto'o has just missed an absolute sitter from about 3 yards out.
He'll score though.

Inter down to 10 men. Chivu sent off.

Ivan Cordoba coming on for Pandev.

2-0 Milan. Pato with his 2nd. Could this be the day that Serie A is won and lost?

3-0 Milan. Cassano penalty.

Oh Cassano, the good and the bad.
