Arturo Vidal has a new tattoo. It's a huge AV on the left side of his neck. On his left bicep he has 'King Arturo' tattooed. In January the Juventus player told German magazine Sport Bild "I am the best player in the world in my position. That's simply the way it is for me."
There is no shortage of ego with Vidal, and that's why - whatever he may have protested in public in the past - that rumours of interest from the world's biggest clubs, and talk of huge deals, was always going to arouse a certain level of intrigue from the player.
Real Madrid and Barcelona have been linked but so too have Manchester United and they probably have the greater need. A midfielder who knows he's seriously good, and wouldn't want to drop from that standard, would be a boost for Louis van Gaal.
Vidal would walk into Old Trafford like the cock of the town, whereas someone like Cesc Fabregas may shuffle in and want to feel some love after getting a Catalan kicking from Barcelona.
Vidal's entourage knows there's interest and, according to TMW, won't deny that. Rather than the talk being of how committed Vidal is to Juventus, it's now about whether the Italian club can show the strength to keep him in the face of huge interest.
