The future of Mario Balotelli is uncertain, as it always is, but this time there aren't many clubs in Europe prepared to take a gamble on the Liverpool striker.
Liverpool are desperate to offload him, as Jurgen Klopp has made it very clear the controversial striker doesn't fit in his plans.
Crotone, who got promoted to the Serie A, are said to be interested in signing Balotelli, but it remains to be seen, if they have the money to afford his wages, or the transfer fee Liverpool could demand.
Reports in Italy has suggested even AC Milan might be willing to extend his loan spell, but don't want to sign him permanently, and Liverpool don't seem to be keen on sending him on loan for another season.
The downfall of Balotelli is quite surprising, as the player was a star for Italy during the Euros in 2012, and now he has been left out of Antonio Conte's squad for the Euros in France.
Italian website Tutto Mercato Web discuss the future of Balotelli, and what could be his next destination. TMW reckon Cesare Prandelli, who is set to be appointed as the next Lazio boss, could sign Balotelli at the Serie A club, and they very much like the idea.
Balotelli flourished under Prandelli during the Euros in 2012, and the Serie A club are also looking for a replacement of Miroslav Klose.
TMW say the idea of Balotelli signing for Lazio isn't crazy at all, and maybe they think it could happen, but Liverpool would want to get maximum fee out of any possible transfer, and might look for suitors in China, where they know it won't be that difficult for them to recoup the fee they paid for him, a couple of years ago.
