Another very winnable game! Same team as for Forest  except Bjarnason coming in for Whelan. Good move; we need to see more of what he can do in that position. Can we keep this run going?

2-1 after 13 minutes, Hogan x 2 then they get one back.

3-1. 19 minutes Hourihane. Assisted by Grealish.

Nothing since 19 min nevertheless good result and in answer to Bosco’s question when  will Wolves have a wobble - well now it seems losing 0-2 to Forest.

oh dear we’re in third at least until Cardiff play.

Good result, wonder if Bruce still want to loan a striker? Well played Hogan

3-1 it is. Great stuff, up to 3rd, for the moment. Derby in our sightsm and even Wolves lost. A good day at the office.

Yep, we'll take that, shame we couldn't bang in a couple more to improve the GD  and help us overhaul Derby when we catch them, but no complaints here.

Hogan needed a run and is getting it, now he is showing what he can do.

Well done to the tricky trees, maybe this is the start of a Wolves wobble, 1 point from 6 for them and defeat in the FA cup replay?

Come on you Wednesday stick it to Cardiff and it will be almost a perfect weekend!

Tricky game next up away to Sheff United on Tuesday week, the good thing is they will have an FA Cup tie against Preston on Sat while we are training hard????!!!!

Let's keep it going, please, please, please..........

Cardiff drew. So just ahead, but near enough.

Wyness said Villa were prepared to stick with the existing squad if necessary, and would only get somebody in if there was clear advantage in doing so. So, maybe no more signings.

I think we have a big enough squad for now, why bring in players for the sake of it. If we can keep on like this and get a few of the injured players back pushing for places we will be in good stead.

The issue begins IF we go up!! As this squad is not good enough for the PL.
