Last week we covered claims of Manchester United having sent a delegation to Brazil to keep an eye on two young Internacional players. The Manchester United delegation was sent to watch Internacional against Cruzeiro specifically for both Eduardo Sasha and Rodrigo Dourado, the club's representative being sent to Porto Alegre on the mission.
There's been little heard since and in all honesty there are often claims about Manchester United looking at young players in South America, very rarely does anything come of it. Agents in Brazil especially try to get pieces of players and deals can become complicated with all kinds of people claiming ownership and percentage rights.
From the two Manchester United are apparently interested in, Sasha is 23 years old and has a European passport meaning there's no need for work permit headaches. Dourado is 21 years of age and we weren't able to find out the passport situation for him, although if he also had a European passport then it likely would have been mentioned.
Dourado has been speaking to GloboEsporte about his future and after the Manchester United delegation had been and gone (we assume they've gone and aren't hanging around), he admitted it's one of the clubs he dreams of playing for "Every player dreams of Bayern, Chelsea, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United. But today, it was so difficult to become a professional at Internacional. I'm focused here and want to stay very focused here."
