GROUP B:

GROUP C:

GROUP D:

GROUP G:

GROUP H:

Now all teams are qualified, today is the day when we learn who will end up in which group.

The draw, which takes place in Monaco and drags for seemingly years, starts at 16:45.

Rules are thus:

Uefa's rules for the draw will see the 32 qualified teams allocated into eight groups of four teams. Each group will contain a top seed, plus one club each from the second, third and fourth pots.

Each pot is determined by a club's Uefa ranking but even the fourth pot contains some teams the English clubs would hope to avoid such as Dortmund - though the Germans could still be among the third seeds depending on Wednesday's results - as well as Napoli and Dinamo Zagreb.

The top two in each group will go through to the knock-out phase of the Champions League, and the third-place side to the knock-out phase of the Europa League.

The pots are:

Pot one - Manchester United, Barcelona, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Porto, Inter Milan.

Pot two - Shakhtar Donetsk, Lyon, Villarreal, AC Milan, Valencia, Marseille, CSKA Moscow, Benfica.

Pot three - Zenit St Petersburg, Man City, Olympiakos, Ajax, Bayer Leverkusen, BATE Borisov, Basle, Lille.

Pot four - Borussia Dortmund, Trabzonspor, Dinamo Zagreb, Napoli, APOEL, Genk, Otelul Galati, Viktoria Plzen.

English teams in pot one will surely looking to avoid AC Milan in pot two. Pot three isn't so hard as none of them can face Manchester City but there's some potential banana skins. Everyone will be hoping to avoid Borussia Dortmund in pot four.

We'll be here for the draw, see you later.

I'm always torn on these things between wanting an easy route and wanting good games, both to watch and as preparation for the later stages.

For example: CSKA, BATE & Otelu Galati would be an easy route for United but bloody boring and it would be a big step up to the next round.

I am soooooo hoping Utd draw APOEL..... it would be great to have the team over here in Cyprus!

City could get Barca, AC Milan & Borussia Dortmund.
Loving that idea.  I want Man City to get Barcelona anyway to shut these muppets up that reckon Man City have a squad capable of being better than Barcelona!

City aren't even close to Barca!

Watch Maldini go ultra defensive even at home in Europe.

451 but with 2 DMs & Toure. Milner taking a wing to add further support.

Against Barcelona, I wouldn't be surprised if he is even more defensive than that!
Me too!
I really don't know what my City formation would be. Think it will be fund and games at Eastlands this year.
Dortmund and Napoli are ones to avoid from pot four too.
Another point on this draw, they'll also be naming the players of the year and team of the year.

So it's not going to start until about 17:15 then?

Ideally we'd all like an easy route but we'd all like to see some good games as well. A few teams I want to avoid are CSKA Moscow, Zenit St Petersburg, Shakhtar Donetsk, Otelul Galati, Olympiacos and APOEL Nicosia for travel reasons.

Personally I hope we get a couple of decent teams like AC Milan and Dortmund because at the end of the day we should beat all of those teams and we're capable of giving most of them a right hiding on our day so whatever happens, happens.

I know, I thought it'd be about 12. Annoying as it will go on forever anyway.

I'm with you, I want a couple of decent teams. We may live to regret this.
