Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport on Monday go over transfer possibilities at Serie A club Fiorentina. Giuseppe Rossi is a player who Gazzetta feel could be on the move. Fit again after another long battle with injury, the US born Italy international wants regular football and can't get that at Fiorentina right now.
Rossi feels he's missed enough football through injury and isn't prepared to be a bit part player, hoping to get games and impress ahead of the all important Euro 2016 tournament in France next year. Several clubs have been linked with Rossi, but Gazzetta says there's nothing concrete yet.
Someone there is something concrete on, according to the newspaper, is 6ft 3in Khouma Babacar. Gazzetta dello Sport say both Crystal Palace and Sunderland have made offers for the player, but Fiorentina are determined to hang on to him, because he can score goals.
In Serie A, Babacar has this season scored 4 goals from just 5 starts and 3 substitute appearances. In the Europa League he's managed 2 goals in 3 starts and 2 substitute appearances.
The 22 year old's stats are good, but Nikola Kalinić and Josip Iličić are the undisputed pair upfront, and Babacar may be tempted by a decent offer.
If not, there's always Rossi!
