Does anyone actually want to go to the Olympics or are we going to watch empty stadiums on the telly?

The purchase of tickets looks like a very expensive and complex lottery, (unless you are prepared to go to the qualifying rounds of the Freestyle Wrestling).

Of course Mr Visa will do better than anyone as you need to use one of his cards. You have to put your wish list in and be prepared to have the money taken out of your account "sometime between...and ..." before you are told which tickets you have be successful in acquiring.

That's before you negotiate (and pay for) the travel between  where ever normal people live and London!!

Having said that I want to go!!!!

What do others think?

I want to go too!

For the Commonwealth games in Manc, we went to boxing, table tennis, netball, rugby and watched some of the street runs.

It was absolutely fantastic.

I'm going to try and get to a few olympic things.

I don't understand why they have built a new velodrome when there is one in Manchester which has just been used for a major competition.

I won't be going. I went to Manchester Commonwealth games in Wastelands but i won't be going all the way down to London. Might watch a football match though.
