Reports in the last few months has suggested Liverpool are interested in signing Anderlecht youngster Samuel Bastien, who is on loan at Serie B club Avellino.
It was reported Liverpool had sent scouts to watch Bastien several times, and Liverpool have already contacted Avellino for the player, as the Serie B have the option to sign him permanently for €4m in the summer.
Now, according to Avellino based website Tutto Avellino, Liverpool have turned their attention towards Udinese star Piotr Zielinski, and that could allow Fiorentina to complete a deal for Bastien.
Avellino are not expected to sign him permanently in the summer, and the player is likely to return to Anderlecht, so any possible deal should be negotiated with the Belgian club.
Tutto Avellino say Liverpool have been interested in signing Avellino for a while now, and were also ready to offer €5m, although it now seems Klopp might not want to sign more young midfielders after the arrival of Marko Grujic, and possibly Piotr Zielinski.
