We've covered rumors linking OGC Nice midfielder Nampalys Mendy to Leicester City in the last couple of months, and it now seems the Premier League Champions are serious about their interest.
According to RMC Sport in France, Leicester City have made an offer of €10m for the French midfielder, as both clubs have entered into negotiations.
OGC Nice, however, are very well aware of the new TV rights deal in the Premier League want €16m for the French midfielder, despite his contract expiring next summer.
It is reported the player has already agreed personal terms with Leicester, and could be set for a reunion with Claudio Ranieri.
Mendy is said to be in the mould of N'Golo Kante, who is reportedly a transfer target for several top European clubs. Earlier, reports have suggested Ranieri is very keen on bringing the player to England, as they've already worked together at AS Monaco.
