German magazine SportBild this week have a feature on the future of Lorenzo Gonzalez and Borussia Dortmund's plan to sign the player. Just 15 years of age, Gonzalez currently plays for Swiss club Servette FC, but is attracting interest from others.
Dortmund are keen, but Manchester United quite fancy recruiting the youngster too, explain SportBild. Those two teams aren't alone, with AS Roma, Real Madrid and Juventus also looking at the possibility of signing the player.
Gonzalez is a striker and must be quick because his nickname is 'Speedy', named after the cartoon character 'Speedy Gonzales - The fastest mouse in all of Mexico'.
Despite being Swiss, Gonzalez also holds a UK passport and whilst those roots aren't full explained, it could well be a plus for any sides here looking at a deal.
The cautionary talent of Martin Odegaard is told, and SportBild clearly believe the Norwegian wonder-kid probably made the wrong choice when going to Real Madrid. Odegaard turned 17 years of age today so has plenty of time to succeed in Madrid or move elsewhere and excel there.
With interest building around Speedy, clubs will have to get a move on if they want to beat the competition. ¡Ándale! ¡Ándale! ¡Arriba! ¡Arriba!Tweet
