Chelsea star Nemanja Matic had a dip in form this season, but top European clubs are still interested in signing him this summer, and reports in Italy suggest he could be set for a reunion with Jose Mourinho.
Matic was a key player for Mourinho, when Chelsea won the league in 2014/15 season, and the new Manchester United boss wants to bring him to Old Trafford, according to Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio.
Di Marzio reckons United have already made initial contacts with Chelsea to sign the Serbian star, and the player is also 'dreaming' of a move to Manchester United.
Chelsea, however, could shatter those dreams, as it's unlikely they'd want to strengthen their direct rivals, and Matic is still rated as one of the best midfielders in the league, despite an average season for the player.
The 27-year-old still has three years left in his contract at Stamford Bridge, and a lot also depends on new Blues boss Antonio Conte, but any deal won't be easy or cheap, even if the Italian manager decides to offload him.
