We will see alot of overtaking in corners 1 and 2, 3 is pretty much a curve on a straight; 4 is slow and easy to defend; 5 through 8 are fast corners; 9 is easy to defend;10,11,12 are pretty fast, slowing down by 13 to turn by turn 14 which will be easy to defend, might see some overtaking on the long straight upto turn 15.

Dry conditions will continue into Free Practice 2. Saturday's shower potential remains 45%, but higher post-quali. Race day still >80%.

Hamilton down into 4th after being overtaken by Heidfeld. He's off the track now and has been overtaken by Webber. He's pitted and has come out behind Petrov into 8th. Shocking day for Hamilton.
Disaster for Hamilton.  His car's not been right since his previous pit stop.  Now in 7th.
Petrov's steering column gone.  How scary must that be?
Petrov caught some air there after trying to re-enter the track at full speed after going off. His steering wheel has come off and he's now retired.

Vettel never under any pressure there.

Nope, same as Australia. He's just too fast at the moment.

What the hell was Petrov doing loool.

I've run wide many a time on that corner, even I know you just don't go full throttle back onto the track there LOL

Just to round off a very bad day for Hamilton.

Really enjoyed the race, which I watched last night. The DRS seems to adding some interest to the mix, and there were lots of good battles all over the track. Credit to Jenson for his second place, but yes, Vettel in that car is looking rather unbeatable just now. Petrov's crash was quite mad, I had to replay it a few times to believe what I was seeing!

Too bad it didn't rain properly though...
