Barcelona star Pedro has had what could be yet another last game for the Spanish club, say Spanish newspaper Sport in their Tuesday edition. Pedro has had so many last games now that he must be dizzy. His first last game was a friendly against Manchester United on the US tour, the Spanish media were so insistent a deal was imminent that we joked he could play one half for each team - given the hype at the time it was a joke which took a few people in.
Then Pedro had another last game against Sevilla in the UEFA Super Cup, scoring the winning goal late into the game and providing the perfect script for his final game. Except it was his final Barcelona match, Pedro then had another against Athletic Club Bilbao in the Spanish Super Cup and then, obviously being greedy, had another last match on Monday night against the same opposition.
Things are getting more serious though, because Manchester United's Edward Woodward was in Barcelona yesterday, say Sport, and he held a meeting with Raul Sanllehi who is Barcelona's director of administration.
It's Sanllehi's job to make sure the paperwork side of things is done correctly, important for Barcelona given the problems they've faced with the FIFA transfer ban and Neymar deal. That he's involved would make it look like a deal is very on indeed.
