What a nice sunny Autumn day we have, the perfect football conditions.
Much talk in the media today appears to be about tomorrow's Manchester derby but there are some important matches today first.
If Swansea are to get a win away from home this season then today's game would be a good place to start. Both sides are outside the relegation zone but one or two poor results could seem them enter that dreaded area. Should be an even game with a draw the stand out possibility.
Next up is something of a Midlands derby if you use the term loosely. Both teams are punching around their weight this season and a win for Villa would see them looking to get into the top six. Villa will want a good performance to brighten the atmosphere up even more and Gabby Agbonlahor will want to continue his good start to the season.
Sunderland and Bolton are both six points, with Sunderland being outside the drop zone and Bolton in it. A loss today for either team would be damaging and a battering would see a manager close to the edge.
Newcastle have had a storming start to the season and who would bet against them winning today, however it is Newcastle so always hard to judge. The Geordies stand proud in fourth place and they can cement that even more, they're currently 2 points ahead of Liverpool. Wigan are struggling and this could be the season they fail to cling on to survival.
The late match is Liverpool versus Norwich, this may sound unthinkable but if Norwich were to pull off a shock win today they could go above Liverpool. That's not likely though and Dalglish will hope his side build on the satisfactory position they find themselves in.

Ha, Wolves were dead and buried, but then they started playing in the last 10 minutes, madness. I still say they are going to be all right this year, but they need to string a few decent results together.
I'm hoping that we can win without any anxious moments, but you never know. Lucas will be a miss, not sure who will fill his role, I guess it will be Charlie b/c Gerro isn't really the type to hold. Looking forward to the match, 2-1 a likely score line. We're usually rubbish against promoted sides, so let's hope that form doesn't hold!
