To say that the French media are obsessed with the idea of Cristiano Ronaldo moving to Paris Saint-Germain would be putting it lightly.
It’s almost guaranteed that one article will be published every week on the subject, and sometimes they like to involve Ronaldo’s former club Manchester United.
Speaking to RMC in their ‘After Show’, relayed by Le10 Sport, Frédéric Hermel gave the show some information he’d learnt about the Portuguese star’s future.
He said: “I think that Cristiano Ronaldo will leave Real Madrid at the end of the season. I have information that confirms this.”
He continued by saying that Real Madrid didn’t know how to treat their stars anymore and he didn’t really have a relationship with the manager.
Real Madrid and Rafa Benitez seem to see Gareth Bale as the club’s future and the Cristiano Ronaldo’s replacement as the number one star.
Hermel added: “I’ve been told by strong sources, very important ones, that Manchester [United], Paris Saint-Germain and the MLS have a great chance of fighting over Cristiano Ronaldo’s services at the end of the season.”
Manchester United have been linked with a move for their former star for the past five years now and will continue to be until the player either retires or moves to another club.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s start to the season wasn’t going to plan until Real Madrid latest game against Espanyol, where the player scored five goals and got an assist in the club’s 6-0 away win.
