Appears we do not have an active motogp forum here so I'll get things started.
I'm really looking forward to the Catalan Grand Prix this weekend. We've got the all conquering Honda's ridden by Stoner, Dovi and Marco (unfortunately Dani won't make the race) versus Lorenzo/Spies on the Yamaha and the doctor and Nicky Hayden on the Duke.
With an impressive showing last time out, Rossi and the Ducati team are making progress and his shoulder, based on his own estimates, should be fully healed.
I hope we get a good race with all of the above involved fighting for the win. I've got some interesting stats
1) Valentino Rossi - Has finished on the podium here 13 times since 1997 in succession apart from last year when he was injured. Starting from his 125cc Aprilia to the Yamaha motogp bike. He's also had 6 victories in the premiere class
2) Jorge Lorenzo - Won the race last year, lost out to Rossi on the last corner in 2009. If Yamaha improve on their last performance, he would be a contender
3) Casey Stoner - He won the race in 2007 by 0.069 seconds from Rossi and may be the man to beat this weekend if he can get away early and avoid crashing.
Pole - Stoner
1 - Valentino Rossi (I know this sounds crazy but I've got a feeling)
2 - Marco Simoncelli
3 - Jorge Lorenzo
Stoner crashing on the first lap, pushing too hard.
Hope we get a good race and no whining, punching or moaning from the riders.
