Tony Pulis has only taken 15 players to Spain for their Europa League second leg game against Valencia and as it stands Stoke City may not be able to fill their bench.
He blames fatigue amongst the squad which barely conceals his contempt at having to take Stoke City to play at Valencia's Mestalla stadium.
"We've left a few behind but the team I'll pick is what I think is a very strong team. Every player that will start will be a full international, there are three captains of their countries and we'll be giving it a go." That's good of them.
Stoke, who are nine points clear of the relegation zone, are trailing the Spanish side 1-0 and it looks unlikely they'll progress. However, it's certainly not impossible and tonight could have been one of the biggest evenings in Stoke's history.
Pulis did well to strengthen his squad in the summer but still complains it's far too small, despite sending Danny Higginbotham, Michael Tongue and others on loan.
