Last night's football was refreshing after the madness of Transfer Deadline Day, hopefully tonight will match.

So what do we have?

Birmingham v Man City, 19:45

Blackburn v Tottenham, 20:00

Blackpool v West Ham, 20:00

Bolton v Wolverhampton, 20:00

Fulham v Newcastle, 20:00 ON SKY

Liverpool v Stoke, 20:00

Issues to look for are obviously:

  • Suarez and his debut
  • Seeing if Charlie Adam is still dizzy from deadline day
  • The reactions of Liverpool and Newcastle supporters to the departure of their strikers
  • Finding out if Dzeko can get his first league goal in his third game
  • West Ham and Wolves fight to get a win and out of the drop zone, depending on other results

Anything else of note?

Any predictions are also welcome.  Last night some incredibly clever person predicted Rooney would get two goals, can't for the life of me think who it was ;)

I think Spurs' hopes of finishing in 5th will sadly go out the window tonight. They seem to have hit a bit of an injury crisis at the wrong time with Modric, Bale, King, Kaboul, huddlestone and Dawson (although he's suspended) all out and they've a few doubts as well.

I think it'll be a very close game at St Andrews tonight. Tevez I think is a doubt so they might have trouble finding the back of the net unless Dzeko gets his first league goal.

Liverpool I think will beat Stoke quite comfortably. They seem to have turned a corner now and seem to be getting a bit of momentum at the right time. Lets all hope they get a big win so they'll go into the Chelsea game with a good bit of confidence.

I wouldn't be surprised if Charlie Adam was Blackpool's best player tonight. He doesn't seem the type of player sit and sulk so I expect him to just get on with it and help Blackpool stay in the Premier League. I do expect him to get his move in the summer though.

That couldn't have been you who predicted Rooney to score 2 goals TCIR could it? No it surely must've been someone else ;)

I had him as my captain in my fantasy league team so I'd like to think I kinda knew as well. :)

Nah, just put the scores and stuff as they come through and then from your comments I'll update the article.  People look at the latest comment rather than the article.
