Lille defender Djibril Sidibe has been tipped to leave the Ligue 1 club in the summer, largely because of interest from several clubs in the Premier League.
The 23-year-old has been linked to Arsenal, Everton and Watford in the past, but fresh reports in the French media claim another Premier League side could be interested in signing him this summer.
According to France Football, West Ham United are prepared to offer Lille something between €17m and €18m (roughly £13m to £14m) for Sidibe, but face competition from Paris-Saint Germain.
The Hammers could also offer the fullback wages of more than €3m a year in the hope of luring him to London. Other Ligue 1 sides are also interested in Sidibe, but West Ham are being held aloft as a new possible destination.
The 23-year-old is on the reserve list of the France Euro 2016 squad, after an impressive season, and a plague among France's defensive options. He has 6 goals and 3 assists to his name this season in 43 appearances.
