anyone think de gea is wrong?

Just a thought really.  I was never overly impressed with de gea and there is no confirmation he will join.  so far i have heard he will, he wont, he will decide later

But it occurred to me that the goal keeper position took us a long time to sort and not just after the big dane.  If you look at the history of utd over the last 30 odd years we have struggled before

Now with a possible major restructuring taking place do you feel we may have been better going…

Ja606 oder Nein 606.

"Faced with the prospect of having to do some real work, we instead strived to recreate the 'classic' look-and-feel of the original 606, resulting in the homage you are now viewing...

You should also be aware that the JA606 site has been built from the ground up utilising some fairly modern web browsing technologies. As such, JA606 recommends the use of an up to date browser, such as…

Posting Blogs

Having found myself at a loose end over the summer now that Uni has told me to sod off for a bit and stop bothering the lecturerererers with questions like; 'yes, but why is globalisation a threat to modernity?', Mrs El J has given me strict orders to find a job and start paying my way in life. So, like a lamb to the the seasonal employment slaughter, I wove my way to the nearest employment agency to register for the kind of work a man with my skills is skilled enough to do…

No to Ben Foster

New poster here i did read 606 but that closes so here now HI all.

Ben Foster is so over rated it is a joke i have seen him flap at crosses so may times its not even funny. I would sign Paul Robinson to be our keeper for the next 3 years atleast. The fee that is going around to sign Foster is around 9 mill is that for real he is not even worth half that ask any UTD fan.

RIP Wouter Weylandt

Today we lost a rider from the peloton, and I'd like to pay tribute.

For those of you who don't follow cycling, the Giro d'Itlaia is currently winding its way around Italy. This is a 3-week bike race, a Grand Tour, much like the Tour de France.

Around 20k from today's Stage 3 finish, a young cyclist tragically lost his life whilst descending a climb. Medical teams were on the scene immediately, but were unable to revive him.

Walter was a young…

Only 2 trophies worth winning ?

" But a majority of fans must surely have been more desperate than Wenger to have won one of the two domestic cups, now that he appears to regard the FA Cup as contemptuously as the League Cup in claiming: "There's two trophies in the season, the championship and the Champions'

Slap them. You know you want to!

I was reading yet another one of those 'My Perfect XI' lists recently that are so often a feature of websites or magazines.

You know the sort of thing, an all-time XI as selected by someone important. They may be from a single club, from a particular country or league, the most…

Summer exit; Franck Ribéry - Arjen Robben

Bayern Munich coach Louis van Gaal's position looks to be untenable after the German champions lost 3-1 to a superior Hannover outfit in the third-place showdown. Everything that could wrong for Bayern did go wrong - a deflected goal, a goalkeeping howler and a red card. It now appears… Continue

WorldClass Villa Talk…

Well I’ve made a partial move. I will be dual posting on 606 and SportWitness.

I’ve searched around and, well simply put, the others are all dross and set up to make money.

SportWitness has been set up on a simple, clear platform and with a few tweaks I think it could easily grow to become a massive forum.

Anyway on with what I hope to become a regular, irregular blog stroke article.

One which I aim to become a quick round up of recent events and…

Birmingham V Everton: Preview from a Brummie's point of view.

Inspired by the excellent article posted by World Class, I thought I'd have ago at this. Apologies if I mess up.

Tonight sees Birmingham City travel to Merseyside to take on an Everton team looking for a third win on the trot. With injuries to several key players, including Barry Ferguson, Craig Gardner and Alexander Hleb, the Blues go into this match with a threadbare midfield, but Alex McLeish is still likely to play 5 across the middle in a 4-5-1 formation.…

A point at least at goodison ---

A point at Everton,is a must for Blues,if only to help build confidence.  The players and management, have to be far better prepared, than they were against Albion on Saturday. The  Cup win ,has to be put out of everyones minds now, because relegation, will tarnish it. We now have 11 league games left,to retain our premiership status. That's 11 cup finals, which now take on more inportance, than the Wembley one.  Four wins out of those 11,will,I believe see us ok,but we need to perform at the same… Continue
