A home game at last !

Our first,at Old Field Road, since 11th December 2012 (Happy New Year everybody) and only our second home match since October 29th 2012.

Pauline rolled out the hot,tasty treats, that where much needed on this chilly day (very nice to see good old Bovril make an appearance)and the new heaters in the clubhouse did a sterling job, keeping out the cold.

Summing up...

We scored an amazing goal, got caught napping with two minutes to go and had to play ugly at times.

Now I suppose we had best sum up, the summing up.

The hosts came out of the blocks quite quickly and it soon became evident that this could be a backs to the wall afternoon.

Handing away a lead, stuck in the mud revisited and the mind of a linesman

What a bad day at the races.

What began as a comfy stroll in the park, became quite frustrating and there really is no way of dressing it up, the lads got what they deserved.

A slow pace to the start of the game, allowed Maghull to play the ball around a bit. The home side not really featuring, in the early exchanges.
