A game of 80 minutes and when V isn't for victory.

Maghull 0-2 Chester Nomads  http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/maghullfootballclub/

A good performance all round.
Granted, there where not chances galore, but enough where created and good ones too. Better luck in front of goal, would surely have seen, at least parity in the scoreline. Compounded by the visitors keeper having "one of those days"
Majority of possession and most of the play in the opposition half can only breed confidence. Confirmed by a good source, that "you have been the better side" only rubs salt into the wounds of what was, in all essence, a false result.
But a result it was.
Taking into account the loss of 8 (eight) first team squad members to the festivities of V (should never be held in the football season) and an atrocious first ten minutes when two goals where gifted to Chester (Smith and Delgado) then all in all, positives can be taken from the game.
So least said about the first ten and take the positives from the final 80.
Mossley Hill away from home on Wednesday evening, with a full squad, could be the first points on the board.
