Just a thought really.  I was never overly impressed with de gea and there is no confirmation he will join.  so far i have heard he will, he wont, he will decide later

 

But it occurred to me that the goal keeper position took us a long time to sort and not just after the big dane.  If you look at the history of utd over the last 30 odd years we have struggled before

 

Now with a possible major restructuring taking place do you feel we may have been better going for some one like say paul robinson?  as he would need less of a settling in time?

 

It doesnt have to be robinson as such (although i think he could be good), it could be anyone with 'experience' even say a buffon (although he has injury issues i believe and would be expensive as a stop gap)
