Louis van Gaal has replaced the legendary Alex Ferguson of Manchester United. The new manager of Manchester United has set expectations among Man U fans and the management. Eyes are on Gaal on whether he will be able to take Ferguson’s legacy forward.

The 62 year old Manchester United manager has signed the three year contract. What is more? Football ace Ryan Giggs will now be assisting the newly appointed manager. Van Gaal has already replaced David Moyes, who has been currently dismissed by the team.

The Dutchman who has victories with Barcelona, Ajax, AZ Alkmaar and Bayern Munich, up his sleeves is undertaking the challenge at Old Trafford. Leading the Netherlands team this World Cup, Louis van Gaal has now a new role to play.

In one of his interviews Gaal has reportedly told the media that he feels Manchester United is quite an ambitious club, always on the move to achieve ambitions. He has said that the team along with his assistance are sure to create history. Van Gaal has expressed his pleasure for working in Premier Leagues. The new Man U manager has added that he feels proud to be the manager of the world’s biggest club. He even said that he has managed games at the Old Trafford previously and he has had an incredible experience in the arena. Van Gaal is all praise for the knowledgeable fans watching games at the Old Trafford.

After Moyes left United in April, Ed Woodward, the vice chairman of the club is now convinced that he has indeed taken the right step in appointing Van Gaal. He has added saying that Van Gaal’s league records have helped him stand as the ideal choice for United. The chairman has said the team has secured services of an outstanding manager and that the Old Trafford is absolutely the fitting stage to add new chapters of victory to the history of Manchester United. Avide Glazer, the United co-chairman has commented on the scenario saying that Van Gaal has already voiced his plans on some of the best possible stances for the club to consider while the soccer season is on full swing.

Glazer has further talked about Louis van Gaal’s appointment as club manager, saying that the board is supportive about Gaal’s plans such that everyone is looking forward to seeing victories in the forth coming season. Following the dismissal of Moyes, Giggs took charge of the team for four consecutive games and as he came across the Netherlands coach this World Cup season he discussed about the latter’s future with Man U.

Upon interviewing Ryan Giggs, the winner of 34 major trophies has said that Louis van Gaal will indeed make a world class coach for Manchester United. By the guidance of Gaal, the Holland squad implemented extremely tactful strategies that led the team to rise up to the third position. The coach definitely found unbeaten strategies for his team that helped him see results. Van Gaal’s diplomatic decision to substitute goalkeeper Cillessen for Krul just before the penalty shoot-out stunned everyone. The winning stance of the Netherlands coach has made him overnight famous such that Manchester United fans seem hopeful that this time around the club will regain its position as number one.

When Sir Alex Ferguson left the club, the big question remained as to who will help Manchester United reign over the premier league season. This was the time when many were hopeful about Jose Mourinho taking the place, considering that he possessed the same winning attitude Sir Ferguson had. Considering the intensity of aggressiveness needful to grab titles, some people believe that only a person with stiffened back and broader shoulder can bring in a change to the Manchester United history. Thus, people realised how valuable Van Gaal can be for the club. Manchester fans are continuing to believe that the decision to have Louis van Gaal as the manager will work to the advantage of the team.
