Worried about likely Arsenal departures

WTF is going on at Arsenal? Instead of the high quality additions such as Juan Mata, Eden Hazard, Pepe Reina, Gary Cahill that we were expecting to see in order to replace the disappointing class of Wenger's Wunderkids, we are seeing Nasri, Fabregas & Clichy leaving and a familiar charade of unknown 20 year olds mooted as replacements. As much as I have been a flag holder of the "In Wenger we trust" brigade for the last 6 years, I am pretty close to turning into a Wenger hater. Starting to think that David Dein was right in siding with Usmanov.

Out of interest, and sorry that this adds nothing to your questions, why do people post blogs instead of discussions/articles? Unless I've missed something they seem to be exactly the same thing apart from a slightly different layout on blogs...

Tp be more relevant, I think that you will definitely sign some top class players even if some of the current stars leave. Perhaps it's best to get rid of the likes of Fabregas and Walcott, who although young have been here for ages and haven't achieved a lot so far.

With regards to the buy young to replace quality policy, yes it's only good to a degree and certainly if you sell Fabregas and Nasri and replace them with some unknown 20 year olds that would be a real worry. But I don't think that will happen, I'm sure Arsenal will sign a few quality players at least this summer.
