Hale 0 - 0 Maghull

Saturday 18th April 2015 kick off 3pm

For those of you who missed this, congratulations.

This game was the ultimate, in an end of season meaningless affair. And looked like a blueprint for the shambles at Wembley, by one side, the following day

George thought he would have to carry me home, so much was the attack of boredom instilled in me, during the course of this horrible 90 minutes. But at least the weather was nice and I got attacked by my sisters dog to take my mind off what was played out in front of me.

The referee liked the sound of his own voice (maybe to keep him awake) Lee Carroll made a couple of useful saves and Hale should have had a player sent off in time added on. Other than that, I really cannot think of anything else to say.

The first half was dull, the second half eclipsed it. Taking into account a couple of breaks when Maghulls new offside trap failed miserably and the nervy performance by Hales keeper and we could still be there now hoping someone would score.

Not often I am lost for words, but this one has me stumped.

Can we possibly finish on a high next week please lads and put this painful season to bed. Over and out !

Next game : Chester Nomads h league kick off 3pm final game of the season

Big shout out for the Youth teams Cup Final on Tuesday 21st April kick off 6.30pm  Best of luck for Peter Edwards lads.
