Christian Benteke signed for Liverpool at the start of the season in a £32.5m deal, and has been continuously battered for his transfer fee. The 25-year-old was signed by Brendan Rodgers, and the feeling around Anfield is the Belgian doesn't really fit in Liverpool's playing style, as they'd want a more dynamic forward.
His agent, Eris Kismet, has been speaking to Italian website Tutto Mercato Web, to address rumours linking him to Italian clubs.
"Interest from Italy? There are only rumours, but there was some contacts with Serie A clubs six months ago. Now, however, there is nothing. He is currently a player of Liverpool, we will analyse the situation later," he told TMW.
The Belgian star has also been linked to Chelsea by the English media recently, and Kismet feels it's only obvious for a player of his quality.
Kismet added: "If there have been contacts with Chelsea and Arsenal? Many clubs want the player, it's obvious. But he is now only thinking to do well in the European Championship. He wants to win the competition with Belgium. We'll think about his future later."
Benteke notched up 10 goals and 6 assists for Liverpool in the 2200 minutes of football that he managed this season, and there is good chance he could do very well at a club that can play to his strengths.
